EMERALD BAY UPDATES KUHN 3 OPERATIONS
Mar 07 2018
Emerald Bay Energy Inc. (TSX Venture: EBY) (the “Company” or “Emerald Bay”) is pleased to provide the following update on operations to tie in the Kuhn 3 well at the Company’s Wooden Horse play in Southwest Texas. After experiencing several days of limited access to the lease due to weather, crews have been on location for the past week and have been able to trench flow lines, set the pump jack in place, and install the necessary electrical equipment in preparation for running the rods and pump in the well later this week. The well is now tied into production facilities. With a bottom hole shut in pressure of 724 psi and 120 psi at the wellhead, the well is currently free-flowing oil up the flow line to the tank battery. With the current flow rates and pressure it may be difficult to run the pump in the well at this time, however the Company has arranged to have a rig on location Saturday to attempt to swab the well down sufficiently in order to run the pumping equipment in. The Company will provide further updates as they become available.
